An estimated 9,000 Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) workers will receive financial assistance starting October 26, until Friday, October 29 under the FABayanihan-Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
As of October 15, 2021 the FABayanihan-Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) has provided P55,920,000 aid to 18,632 FAB workers.
“Through our partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the offices of Senator Bong Go and Cong. Joet Garcia, the granting of financial assistance to our workers affected by the pandemic became possible. Thank you to our FABayanihan: AICS partners,” AFAB Administrator Engr. Emmanuel Pineda said in his recent State of the Freeport Address.
Beneficiaries are reminded to follow the schedule for payout, bring complete requirements, wear face masks and face shields, bring alcohol and vaccination cards, and follow protocols upon entry and exit to and from the Freeport Area of Bataan to ensure fast and safe transactions.
